The ESG Report

Property portfolios must reduce aggregate emissions by around 80 percent by 2034 to stand a chance of reaching net zero by 2050, according to data in PERE’s 2021 ESG report. Managers are making great strides in reducing emissions – investors and tenants expect them to step up to the plate. But collective aims will need to be far loftier to win the race to net zero.
