After a slight delay, voting for the 17th edition of private real estate’s most anticipated awards is launching today.
The 2022 PERE Global Awards are our biggest yet, with 72 categories this time around for institutional managers, investors and their advisers to contest. Included for the first time are dedicated data center categories in acknowledgement of exponentially growing activity from institutional investors and managers in the sector.
For the first time, firms can win awards in the following categories:
- Data Center Firm of the Year: Global
- Data Center Firm of the Year: North America
- Data Center Firm of the Year: Europe
- Data Center Firm of the Year: Asia

Following the introduction of ESG and Proptech Firm of the Year categories last year, the PERE Global Awards continues to reflect the ever-changing conditions and trends in the private real estate capital markets.
These categories sit beside our longstanding categories including Firm, Investor, Capital Raise, Capital Advisory and those dedicated to asset classes and specific geographies.
Last year’s awards attracted approximately 20,000 votes across 71 categories, twice as many as were collected in 2020. That is testament to the prestige and validity of the only global awards for private real estate where the winners are voted for by you, our trusted readers. With this year’s expanded awards, we are expecting even more voting activity.
