Vantage teams with Angelo Gordon to buy multifamily complex

The subsidiary of New York-based real estate investor Vantage Properties has bought a 776-unit garden apartment block in New Jersey. It is Vantage Mid-Atlantic’s first deal and first JV with Angelo Gordon.

Vantage Mid-Atlantic has acquired a 776-unit garden apartment complex in New Jersey in partnership with Angelo Gordon, in its first deal since it was founded this spring.

Vantage bought Fox Run Apartments in Plainsboro, New Jersey, for an undisclosed sum. In a statement the firm said the deal was a joint venture with Angelo Gordon's real estate private equity arm.

Vantage Mid-Atlantic is part of New York-based investment firm Vantage Properties. In April, Vantage appointed former Lubert-Adler executive Devin Aronstam as director and head of acquisitions for Vantage Mid-Atlantic to oversee the firm’s push into the region.
