TRECAP adds asset manager

Former Divco West asset manager Melanie Gangel has joined the real estate investment advisor's San Francisco office to help bolster its West Coast portfolios.

Melanie Gangel, formerly an asset manager at Divco West Real Estate Services, has joined TRECAP Partners as a vice president of asset management. She will work out of the real estate investment advisor's San Francisco office.

According to Gene Conway, TRECAP's senior vice president and managing director for asset management, Gangel joined the Philadelphia-based firm to help expand its West Coast footprint. “TRECAP continues to expand its investment portfolios in important markets along the West Coast, including Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California, and Melanie is an important addition in strengthening our regional asset management team,” he said in a statement.

Prior to joining Divco in 2004, she had been a senior consultant at Ernst & Young and an engineer for Environmental Resolutions.
