Spearhead expands in Europe with new hire

Private equity real estate placement agent Spearhead Capital Partners has hired Anthony Biddulph as a consultant to expand its service to clients in Europe and the Middle East.

Spearhead Capital Partners, the private equity real estate placement agent launched in 2009, has made an appointment to bolster its European and Middle East operation.

The firm has hired Anthony Biddulph as a consultant. Biddulph most recently worked as a director at AMB Properties, the global logistics property business.

Prior to AMB Properties, Biddulph was head of European and Middle East client account management group at BlackRock. Before that, he held roles at property services firm Savills and Richard Ellis in Asia.

In his role at Spearhead, he has been charged with “deepening relationships with European and Middle Eastern investors and extending the activities of Spearhead”, the firm said in an announcement.

Spearhead offers advice on raising private equity real estate funds and operational companies as well as advising institutional investors on real estate related investments. The firm has staff working from offices in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver, Hong Kong, London, Sydney and Melbourne.

It recently advised Pamfleet Group, the Hong Kong-based firm, on the $125 million first closing of its debut real estate fund.
