QSuper’s CIO to retire in 2019

The Brisbane-based superannuation fund’s investment head is retiring after ten years in office.

QSuper’s current chief investment officer, Brad Holzberger, has expressed his intention to retire at the end of September 2019. The superannuation has begun the search for his replacement.

Holzberger has led the fund’s A$80 billion ($56.5 billion, €50 billion) investments since 2009.

In addition to being QSuper’s CIO, he also holds other senior positions in different organisations, including serving as the chairman of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia’s Economics and Investment Policy Council.
