PSP Investments appoints new CIO

The Canadian pension fund manager announced the appointment of the new investment head.

The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) has named Eduard van Gelderen as new senior vice president and chief investment officer, effective immediately.

Van Gelderen will take the helm of PSP’s Total Fund Strategy Group, managing investment strategies, allocations and exposures to different asset classes, geographies and sectors. He will report to President and CEO of the organisation.

Prior to joining PSP Investments, he held different senior positions in University of California, APG Asset Management and ING Investment Management.
