NYSCRF approves $320m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two real estate vehicles.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has agreed to approve $300 million to Westbrook Real Estate Partners XI and $20 million to Pennybacker Credit II, according to the pension’s February 2020 investment report.

The $215.54 billion US public pension has an 8.0 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 8.30 percent.

As illustrated below, NYSCRF has made several commitments to real estate vehicles with a 2018 or 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $2.88 billion.
