Maryland State seeks private assets service providers

The Maryland public pension wants assistance with its secondaries sale needs.

Maryland State Retirement and Pension System is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide advisory services related to the agency’s preparations for the sale of certain private assets on the secondaries market.

The $49 billion US public pension has a current real estate allocation of 8 percent against a 10 percent target allocation.
