Federation of National Public Service Personnel Mutual Aid Associations issued Request for Proposal to make its debut alternative investments.

PGGM will map its CO2 footprint, as well as the sustainability of the real estate portfolio which it administers for its clients, with the help of data analytics platform GeoPhy.

Idabo Endowment Fund has allocated $75 million each to Trumbull Property Fund managed by UBS Global Asset Management and Deutsche Bank's America II.

City of Phoenix Employees' Retirement System has made the first commitment of $25 million to Hemisferio Sul Investimentos' HSI Real Estate V which targets properties assets in Brazil.

The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System has agreed to commit up to €35 million to Benson Elliot Real Estate Partners IV and €20 million in co-investment capital as well as $40 million towards Walton Street Real Estate Fund VIII and $20 million for co-investments.

The  Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund committed EUR 50 million to PW Real Estate Fund III.

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board  contributed GBP200 million in the formation of a new joint venture, Goodman UK Logistics Partnership, with APG Asset Management  and Goodman Group to target logistics investments in UK.

Alaska Permanenet Fund appointed Jim Parise as Acting Chief Investment Officer. The Board of Trustees will post the recruitment notice for the permanent position shortly.

New Jersey Division of Investment and Texas Municipal Retirement System have committed to TPG Real Estate II, which closed earlier this week.

Teacher Retirement System of Texas has committed $125 million to Zell International Fund VI, managed by Equity International Partners.

Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System  has named Kirk Stebbins chief investment officer.

 

5 October

Temasek International has promoted Lee Theng Kiat as chief executive officer. The role was previously held by Ho Ching who will assume the role of chairman of Temasek International and remain CEO of   Temasek Holdings .

Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System  has promoted Tom Siderewicz from deputy CIO to chief investment officer.

OPTrust   has named James Davis chief investment officer. Davis was vice president, strategy and asset mix, and chief economist at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan .

Bayerische Versorgungskammer  planned to commit totally €700 million to the co-investment with Alpha Investment Partners, CBRE Global Investment Partners and Arch Capital.

Kansas Public Employees Retirement System  has committed $175 million to Prudential Real Estate Investors' PRISA.

South Carolina Retirement System has committed $100 million to Torchlight Debt Opportunity Fund V, a commercial real estate fund.
