Liquid Realty hires Jones as controller

As the secondary specialist continues to expand its investment team this year, Liquid Realty has added a fund controller to join the firm’s finance group.

Liquid Realty Partners has appointed Krista Jones as a fund controller. Jones will work within the firm’s finance group on accounting, taxation, reporting and related activities of the firm’s investments.

Jones, a certified public accountant, was previously a financial analyst at Credit Suisse and a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining Liquid Realty. Jones holds a MS in Accountancy and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.

“We feel very fortunate to have added someone with Krista’s high level of private equity and public accounting experience to our team,” Jeff Giller, managing principal of Liquid Realty, said in a statement on the new hire. “The addition of Krista demonstrates Liquid Realty’s commitment to staffing a top-tier finance and accounting group that supports our ability to reliably provide liquidity worldwide to real estate limited partners.”

The San Francisco-based real estate secondaries firm recently expanded its growing investment team with the addition of Stephen Maxon as an analyst in the firm’s acquisitions group. Maxon is the third addition to Liquid Realty’s investment team since the beginning of the year.
