The Los Angeles Water & Power Employees Retirement Plan investment consultant Stepstone has recommended a new real estate pacing plan for 2024.
If implemented the plan would see the US public pension fund commit between $250 million-$400 million to private real estate in 2024. These commitments would be in the range of $75 million-$125 million, spread across two to four relationships.
The Los Angeles Water & Power Employees Retirement Plan currently allocates 9.1 percent to private real estate.
