Nick Tyrrell, a former managing director in JP Morgan Asset Management’s European real estate division, has died after a prolonged illness.
Tyrrell was head of research and strategy at the bank’s European Real Estate Group, and was also a contributor to initiatives at the European Association for investors in non-listed real estate funds (INREV).
In a statement, INREV said it was saddened to report the news, and added it was thankful to have benefitted from his expertise and commitment.
“This was both in a formal role as a member of the database committee but also more informally for advice and support on INREV initiatives as well as speaking at events,” the association said.
