ING Clarion Partners has promoted Brian Watkins to director of the firm at its New York City headquarters, according to an industry news report.
Watkins was previously senior vice president in ING Clarion’s acquisition group. He joined the firm in 1996 and has worked in asset management and acquisitions at ING, managing an acquisitions team responsible for the South and Midwest regions of the US, as well as New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
Last year, ING expanded its global platform with the addition of David Gilbert, based in New York, as a managing director and portfolio manager of its global investments. Gilbert, joining ING from JP Morgan Real Estate, leads a team that will operate in ING Real Estate offices around the world.
