Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund approved a $100 million commitment to Crow Holdings Realty Partners IX at its February 2020 investment committee meeting. Crow Holdings Capital’s ninth series value-add vehicle has a diversified focus when it comes to selecting property types for investments.

The $44.67 billion US public pension has a 9.0 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 6.64 percent.

As illustrated below, IMRF has made seven commitments to real estate funds with a 2019 or 2020 vintage, which combined constitute $649 million.
