If you could ask Paul Mouchakkaa of CalPERS one question…

Paul Mouchakkaa, head of real assets at CalPERS, is offering PERE’s global readership a unique opportunity to submit questions to be addressed during a live interview at the PERE Global Investor Forum next month in Los Angeles.

Paul Mouchakkaa, the head of real assets at CalPERS, will be the subject of the keynote interview, moderated by PCA’s Christy Fields, at this year’s PERE Global Investor Forum in Los Angeles on April 5-6.

He has been senior investment officer of real assets of the largest and most influential US pension plan since March 2015, and previously was head of global research and strategy at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing for 4 years.

Mouchakkaa is overseeing the implementation of CalPERS’ Vision 2020 – a five-year plan to reduce risk, cost and complexity in its investments – within the pension system’s real assets portfolio. According to PERE data, CalPERS managed $27.9 billion in real estate as of December 31.

While the discussion will address the Vision 2020 plan, there is ample room for other topics to be covered, and it is up to PERE’s readers to determine what those topics should be.

With his breadth and depth of experience, Mouchakkaa has much to share with the audience at the Forum. But to make the most of his 45 minutes on stage, we need your input.

This is your chance to drive the discussion at the Summit. So, if you could ask Paul Mouchakkaa anything, what would it be?

Submit your question to PERE News Editor Evelyn Lee at Evelyn.l@peimedia.com between now and Friday, March 31. We’ll select the most insightful, thought-provoking and relevant questions to ask him on stage. All questions will be kept anonymous and must be professional. Non-CalPERS or non-financial markets questions will not be considered.
