Giller leaves Liquid Realty

Jeff Giller has now left the San Francisco-based secondaries shop after four years with the firm.

Jeff Giller has departed Liquid Realty Partners after more than four years as the firm’s chief investment officer.

PERE revealed earlier this month that Giller was set to leave the San Francisco-based secondaries firm “imminently”. An email from Giller, and seen by PERE, confirmed that the co-managing principal officially left last week.

In the email, Giller said he was proud of what the Liquid team had accomplished during his tenure. “We raised and committed well over $1 billion in equity capital to real estate private equity secondary investments, we grew from five to 25 team members and we became the global market leader in the real estate secondaries sector.”

He said founder Scott Landress and the Liquid team would “continue to enjoy success in the coming years and I wish them all the best”.

Giller declined to comment on his future plans, other than to say nothing had been determined.

Liquid’s director of business development Josh Cleveland and director of acquisitions Brendan MacDonald have also departed the firm.
