Dai-ichi Life Insurance commits ¥8.7bn to real estate fund

The Japanese insurer has backed a real estate fund managed by Prologis.

Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company has committed ¥8.7 billion to Japan Core Logistics Fund, managed by Prologis.

The vehicle seeks to invest in operational logistics facilities throughout Japan. The fund has already made two acquisitions of properties located in the Tokyo and Kansai regions worth approximately ¥30 billion.
