Dai-ichi Life commits $50m to US-focused logistics real estate fund

The Japanese insurer has backed a real estate fund managed by Prologis.

Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company has committed $50 million to Prologis US Targeted Logistics Fund.

The vehicle seeks to invest in logistics facilities located in major US cities, including coastal and inland metropolitan areas.

The investment continues the Japanese insurer’s relationship with Prologis, including an Â¥8.7bn commitment made to the firm’s Japan Core Logistics Fund in June 2023.
