Cushman unit to help those with ‘financial challenges’

The global property services firm, Cushman & Wakefield, is creating a team in Europe to assist clients with problems within their property portfolios.

Cushman & Wakefield has created a new division aimed at providing advisory work to clients on their troubled investment programs.

The global property services firm has formed the ‘resolution group’ as a separate fee earning centre by drawing together professionals working in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions.

It said the team would offer a “coordinated approach” to maximising the value of individual assets, portfolios and loans that are facing a variety of challenges stemming from the ongoing financial crisis”.

Cushman & Wakefield will form the team with members from its asset management, financial analysis, valuation, leasing, property management, investment sales, loan sales, debt and equity finance, and litigation support unit.

Cushman & Wakefield investment analyst Keegan Viscius will be heading it.
