Arizona State University appoints outsourced CIO

The American investor has named a firm to re-imagine its OCIO role.

As of July 1, Arizona State University has appointed Blackrock as its outsourced chief investment officer. In January 2017, the foundation’s Investment Committee requested proposals from qualified investment firms.

The $714 million ASU has a 13 percent target allocation to real estate.
