NZ Super Fund appoints CEO

The New Zealand sovereign wealth fund announced new CEO for the NZD38 billion NZ Super Fund.

The Board of the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation appointed Matt Whineray as the chief executive officer of NZ Super Fund.

Prior to this appointment, Whineray has held different roles in NZ Super Fund since he has joined the organisation in 2008, including general manager, Private Market, and chief investment officer at the Guardians.
