UMich approves $150m in commitments

The US endowment has backed an Asia-Pacific and two North America focused funds.

University of Michigan announced commitments of $50 million each to Turner Multifamily Impact Fund II, Phoenix Asia Real Estate Investments Vl and SSC VI.

The $12.1 billion US endowment has a 48.7 percent allocation to alternative assets of which 10.3% is bucketed to private real estate.

As illustrated below, University of Michigan has made five commitments to real estate funds, which combined constitute $192 million.
