Singerman raises $500m

The Chicago-based investment firm quickly achieved fundraising target for its third fund in less than half a year.

Singerman Real Estate announced the final closing of its SRE Opportunity Fund III at $500 million.

Fund III surpassed its $400 million fundraising target and exceeded the size of its predecessor, which closed at $275 million in April 2015.

All the committed LPs of Fund III are US-based investors, including Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System.
