SCRS approves $100m commitment to Stockbridge Value Fund IV

South Carolina Retirement System has confirmed a $100 million commitment to Stockbridge Value Fund IV, according to minutes from its December 2020 investment commission meeting.

The fund is managed by Stockbridge and will invest in value-added opportunities across various sectors in North American markets.

The $32.49 billion US public pension has a 9 percent allocation to real estate. As illustrated, SCRS has made $900 million in commitments to real estate vehicles with vintage years between 2018-19.
