RREEF's Asia CIO confirms departure

Mark Fogle, who was chief investment officer for Asia at the Deutsche Bank-owned alternative investment and asset management platform, has confirmed his departure from the firm. Fogle joined RREEF at the start of 2007 after a spell with AIG.

Mark Fogle, chief investment officer for Asia Pacific at RREEF, the alternative investment and asset management business of Deutsche Bank, confirmed his departure from the firm today.

Fogle, who joined RREEF at the start of 2007 from the real estate investment platform of AIG, has yet to decide his future, despite previous rumours he was to launch his own investment management business in the region. PERE revealed he was to part from RREEF a fortnight ago.

Fogle is perhaps the highest profile of a number of senior RREEF executives in the region to leave in recent months.

Others included: head of acquisitions, Brian Chinappi, who joined Standard Chartered as global head of real estate investment; head of client relations, Phillip Levinson, who joined Blackstone’s capital raising team; and head of portfolio management, Jon Tanaka, who joined Angelo Gordon as head of Japan.
