Rockspring Property Investment Managers, the London-based fund manager, has appointed Hugh Elrington as head of UK transactions.

Elrington joins from Pensus Fund Management, which he set up in 2006.

Prior to that, he spent 11 years at property services firm Richard Ellis, where he was a senior director and head of cross-border investment for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Robert Gilchrist, Rockspring chief executive, said Elrington brought with him transactional expertise.
