Quinlan Private Golub to develop forest site in Czech Republic

The central Europe developer created by Irish private equity real estate firm Quinlan Private and Chicago's Golub is creating a residential complex called Modransky Haj.

Quinlan Private Golub is developing a residential project, Modransky Haj, in Prague, the Czech Republic.

The central and eastern European developer said the location was “unique” being next to the Modransky rokle – Cholupice forest a few minutes from Prague city centre.

The project, which will consist of low-rise housing will be completed in phases. When finshed there will be 600 residential units.

Quinlan Private Golub is the full-service development arm of Quinlan Private, the Dublin-based private equity real estate firm. 

Seperately, the private equity real estate firm is to develop a large shopping centre in a region south of Bratislava. The investment is being in part through Quinlan's €400m European Strategic Real Estate Fund. The centre will cover up to 90 hectares.
