PSP Investments appoints new head

The Canadian pension investment manager has appointed Neil Cunningham as its new CEO and president.

PSP Investments has appointed Neil Cunningham as the new president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.

The appointment is the result of the departure of André Bourbonnais, who is joining BlackRock later this year.

Cunningham, who joined PSP Investments in 2004, worked his way up to the position senior vice president, global head of real estate in 2015. His experience includes earlier stints at Merrill Lynch and National Bank of Canada.
