PFZW commits €250m to Amvest vehicle

PFZW has backed Amvest's open-end fund, which invests in Dutch care homes.

Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn has committed €250 million to Amvest Living & Care Fund (AL&C Fund), according to a recent press release from the Dutch pension fund.

The open-end real estate fund managed by Amvest was launched in 2013 and has two investors, PFZW and Aegon Poland. The fund invests into the construction of care homes within the Netherlands.

PFZW had previously committed €250 million to the same fund. The public pension allocates 9.3 percent of its portfolio to private real estate, amounting to roughly €20.24 billion in capital.
