Perseus hires COO

Perseus Realty Partners has brought on Bill Trimble as its first chief operating officer to oversee administrative functions and investor relations as the firm grows.

Perseus Realty Partners (PRP) has hired Bill Trimble to fill the newly created position of chief operating officer.

Trimble will report to PRP president Paul Dougherty who said in a statement that the position was created in response to the firm’s growing real estate platform and investor base.

As COO, Trimble will be responsible for all of PRP’s administrative functions, supervising and coordinating fundraising activities and administering all capital sourcing, marketing, and investor relations activities.

Prior to joining PRP, Trimble spent 10 years as head of client relations for Baltimore-based asset management firm Red Comb. Earlier, he was head of marketing for McLean, Virginia-based hedge fund of funds firm Winston Capital Management.

Washington, DC-based PRP is currently investing Perseus Realty Partners II which held a first close in April 2008 and is targeting $200 million. The firm focuses on opportunistic middle market investments requiring $5 million to $15 million of equity.
