PennSERS agrees to two separate accounts

The US public pension has selected two real estate managers.

Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System‘s board moved to hire LaSalle Investment Management to manage a real estate asset portfolio and Hotel Asset Value Enhancement to manage a hotel/hospitality asset portfolio.

The $26 billion US public pension has a 12 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 11.7 percent.
