PCA hires former AREA executive

Real estate consultants Pension Consulting Alliance has appointed David Glickman as managing director to help expand its property operations.

Glickman was a partner with AREA Property Partners, formerly known as Apollo Real Estate Advisors, between 2001 and 2005. He also founded real estate hedge fund Ambassador Capital Management in 1999.

Allan Emkin, founder of PCA, said in a statement: “David has more than thirty-seven years of institutional investment experience, including debt and equity, in public and private markets. He has invested across all property types and risk levels, domestically and internationally.”

Glickman will work closely with Emkin, who co-founded PCA with Nori Gerardo Lietz in 1988, and managing director of real estate Christy Fields.
