New York State Common Retirement Fund has committed $103.3 million to private real estate funds, according to a recent monthly transaction report.

The public pension fund allocated $48.3 million to KSL Capital Partners CV II 3, $10 million to GreenPoint Real Estate Private Equity I, $15 million to Grandview II, and $15 million each to Redcar Fund II and Redcar Austin Opportunities Fund managed by Redcar Properties.

The recent commitments from NYSCRF have focused on opportunistic and core strategies, in various sectors.

NYSCRF allocates 10.48 percent of its total investment portfolio to real estate, comprising $25.39 billion in capital.
