Nominations now being accepted

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2010 Global PERE Awards, the only private equity real estate awards voted on entirely by the industry.

Currently in its fifth year, the PERE Awards arguably are the most eagerly awaited and highly prized accolades connected with the private equity real estate community worldwide. The awards are so highly regarded because they are totally independent – there is no sponsorship and no panel of judges. Readers get the chance to nominate and vote for the people and organisations that mattered most in 2010, so your vote really does count.

This year’s awards are expected to be the most significant yet, but we need the help of you, our loyal reader. In an effort to make this the best awards yet, please submit objective nominations for as many categories as you feel you have qualified candidates. The only rule is that you cannot nominate yourself or your own organization.

In addition, to assist in your nomination process, we have provided some guidance on the qualities a strong candidate in each category should possess. It is our hope that these attributes will take some of the guesswork out of nominations and make the process easier.

This year, we are asking for your nominations in December, then we will present the finalists during the first week of January, when you will get your chance to vote for the overall winner of each category.
