New Jersey Division of Investment makes $100m commitment

The US public pension has backed a Pennsylvania-based Core Real Estate fund.

The New Jersey Division of Investment has agreed to commit up to $100 million to Exeter Industrial Core Fund III, according to a representative within the organization. The fund is managed by Exeter Property Group.

The $76.20 billion US public pension has a 6.25 percent target allocation to private real estate which currently stands at 5.84 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, New Jersey Division of Investment currently has a 3.0 percent allocation to real assets, and has made two commitments to Real Estate funds in 2018, which combined constitute $225 million.
