Nebraska Investment Council has approved a commitment of up to $40 million to Rockwood Capital Real Estate Partners XI, a contact at the pension fund informed PERE. Rockwood Capital’s fund focuses on diversified equity investments into value-add property in North America.

The $27.52 billion US public pension has a 6.0 percent target allocation to private real estate that currently stands at 3.42 percent.

As illustrated in the chart below, the pension fund’s commitment to Rockwood Capital Real Estate Partners XI is its inaugural private real estate commitment with a vintage year of 2019.
