Mississippi PERS approves $75m commitment to Heitman Value Partners V

Public Employees’ Retirement System of Mississippi committed $75 million to Heitman Value Partners V at its October meeting, as confirmed by the pension to PERE.

Heitman’s fifth Value Partners fund invests in multiple sectors in North America.

Mississippi PERS has an existing relationship with Heitman, having committed to Heitman Value Partners I and III, according to PERE data.

Real estate makes up 9.54 percent of the system’s $28.24 billion portfolio.
