Maryland State Retirement and Pension System commits $125m to Waterton fund

The institution has made its third known fund commitment to private real estate in 2020.

Maryland State Retirement and Pension System committed to a real estate fund from Waterton in May, according to a September 2020 investment committee meeting document.

The pension committed $125 million to Waterton Residential Property Venture XIV, which focuses on multifamily and residential investments. The fund is targeting $1.25 billion.
