MainePERS approves $50m commitment to BPEA Real Estate Fund II

The US public pension has backed an Asia-focused fund.

Maine Public Employees Retirement System made a commitment of up to $50 million to BPEA Real Estate Fund II, subject to final due diligence, legal review and negotiations.

The $14 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 9 percent.
