LaSalle appoints Galassini to dual senior role

The Chicago-based real estate investment management firm has appointed ex-Morgan Stanley executive Tiziana Galassini to help bolster its “facility for providing creative investment solutions for its clients.”

Chicago-based real estate investment management firm LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Tiziana Galassini as chief operating officer and head of product development.

She joins from Morgan Stanley, where she spent 15 years within its investment banking division. She will be based in London and will report to Jon Zehner, head of LaSalle’s client capital group.

LaSalle said the hire of Galassini was made with a view to supplementing the firm’s efforts in devising real estate investment products for its investors. The firm described the hire as part of its “client-first approach” and to “enhance the firm’s facility for providing creative investment solutions for its clients.”

Zehner said: “Galassini joins us at an exciting time for the business as we see an increasing need for more nimble and innovative real estate funding solutions across our global franchise.”

In her prior roles, Galassini has garnered various corporate finance experience, including real estate transaction structuring and execution as well as private capital placement.
