LaBold move for Monday Properties

Former Prudential Real Estate Investors deal man joins the New York and Washington DC firm to manage its investment platform.

Monday Properties, the New York and Washington DC-focused real estate investment firm, has appointed Steven LaBold as vice president to source and buy assets.

LaBold, 40, joined the firm from Prudential Real Estate Investors, where he managed the platform’s acquisitions, joint ventures, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments in the northeast US.

He will report to senior vice president and director of acquisitions and investment management, Richard Brookshire, who said: “This environment demands skilled operating expertise, local market knowledge, and well-informed capital. Steve has a real depth of investment experience that corresponds directly with our investment approach.”

Monday Properties, founded in 1998, has transacted $7.8 billion in 32 real estate deals since 2002.

The firm has partnered private equity real estate firms such as Apollo Real Estate,Beacon Capital, Lehman Brothers, Prudential and Goldman Sach’s Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds.
