Kildare Partners raises $1.95bn

Kildare Partners has raised $1.95 billion to date for its Kildare European Partners II. The Hamilton-headquartered firm has set a $2 billion target and began fundraising in 2016.

Its previous fund raised $1.91 billion in 2014.

Investors that committed to Kildare European Partners II include the Texas Permanent School Fund, New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, Texas Municipal Retirement System, California State Teachers' Retirement System, Houston Municipal Employees' Pension System and the District of Columbia Retirement Board.

The fund will target Opportunity opportunities in a diverse number of sectors in Europe.
