JPMorgan beefs up Europe team

The US bank has taken on Albert Yang as head of European client strategy.

JPMorgan Asset Management has beefed up its European team by taking on Albert Yang as head of European client strategy. Yang had worked at Henderson Global Investors since 2007, where he became director of institutional business.

In a statement, JPMorgan said Yang would be located in its London office and would report to Michael O’Brien, global head of client relations in the bank’s global real assets group. His main focus will be strengthening investor links and prospects in Europe and the Middle East, as well as building the group’s marketing efforts.

Peter Reilly, head of real estate in Europe, said: “As we continue to build our real estate footprint across Europe, our focus on maintaining our high level of service to clients becomes increasingly important.”

Prior to Henderson, Yang worked at both Schroder Property Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management.
