Internos makes Peskin chairman

Internos Real Investors, the London-based private equity real estate firm that is raising its debut fund, has made Richard Peskin chairman following his appointment as capital partner in March.

Internos Real Investors has appointed Richard Peskin as chairman as it continues efforts to raise a debut fund.

Peskin is already a financial backer of Internos. He became a capital parnter earlier this year having recently retired as chairman of quoted UK property company Great Portland Estates.

Internos was established last year by Jos Short and Andrew Thornton to invest in all sectors across Europe.

Short spent seven years at the European real estate arm of US firm Pramerica before leaving to set up on his own. Thornton is a former chief operating officer of Invesco Real Estate Europe.

Short said in a statement that the market was “rife with opportunity”.
