Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund has committed $50 million to Brasa Capital‘s latest real estate fund, according to materials from the pension’s recent meeting.

The pension fund has invested $50 million into Brasa Real Estate Fund III. The vehicle will invest into the North American office, residential and industrial sector, seeking opportunistic-style returns.
