HIERS approves $50m commitment

The US public pension has backed a North America-focused fund.

Employees’ Retirement System of the State of Hawaii has approved a $50 million commitment to Kayne Anderson Real Estate Partners V.

The $16 billion US public pension has a 7 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 5.5 percent.
