Forum Partners closes European fund on €443m

The Greenwich, Connecticut firm says 15 investors signed commitments for the vehicle which is targeting debt and equity deals in listed and unlisted real estate operating companies.

Forum Partners has raised €443 million ($572 million) for its latest European real estate fund.

The Greenwich-based firm has held a final closing of its Forum European Realty Income III, according to a statement by global placement agent Atlantic-Pacific Capital, which advised Forum.

The vehicle attracted commitments from 15 institutional investors from the US and Europe.

Forum European Realty Income III is the firm’s third investment vehicle aimed at private and listed real estate operating companies located in Europe. The fund has a strategy of investing in companies through privately-negotiated structured equity and debt securities, said the agent.

Forum Partners employs 50 people in six offices across Europe, North America and Asia. It manages more than $2 billion of third party commitments.

The firm was founded in 2002 by Russell Platt, Andrew Walker, and Caroline McBride.
