Equity Based Services has acquired two self-storage facilities in Dallas, Texas. The deal comes just one month after its purchase of 1,563 storage units in Austin.
The Assured Self Storage and Blue Star Self Storage properties, acquired for an undisclosed sum, are located in the Dallas suburb of Lewiston. The properties comprise 1,130 storage units as well as 115 parking spaces. It totals 148,556 net rentable square feet. The San Diego, California-based private equity real estate firm counts seven Texas self-storage properties in its portfolio.
The Assured Self Storage and Blue Star Self Storage properties will be combined and re-branded as American Mini Storage, according to the firm in a statement.
The deal comes a month after the firm’s acquisition of a two-property self-storage portfolio in Austin, Texas from California-based Central Self Storage. The deal comprised 1,563 storage units with a total of 159,290 net rentable square feet.
