Cordea Savills appoints Italian opportunity fund manager

Piergiulio Dentice di Accadia has joined from CB Richard Ellis Investors to manage the Cordea Savills Italian Opportunities No 2 fund. In addition, former Pirelli Real Estate professional Daniele Martignetti has also joined Cordea Savills’ Italian business.

Cordea Savills, the international property fund manager, has beefed up its Italian operation with the appointment of two real estate professionals.

Piergiulio Dentice di Accadia and Daniele Martignetti have joined as portfolio managers. The appointments underscore the expansion of its Milan-based Italian investment and operations teams, announced by the firm last November.

The London-based firm said in a statement that Dentice di Accadia had joined from Richard Ellis and had become portfolio manager of the Cordea Savills Italian Opportunities No 2 fund, overseeing the fund’s existing assets and identifying further investments. He was a senior asset manager at the US company responsible for the sourcing of investments, implementing asset management and refurbishment development initiatives and ultimately the sale of completed projects.

Meanwhile, Martignetti has joined as portfolio manager of Italian residential assets. Prior to joining Cordea Savills, he worked at Pirelli Real Estate in Italy and Germany.

The pair are to report to Salvatore Ruoppolo, head of investments in Italy.
